Within the project "Let Me Tell You something about the EU", on 12 November a visit of the Ambassador Mitja Drobnic, Head of EU Delegation to Montenegro, to the municipalities of Pljevlja and Zabljak. The visit was organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, Municipality of Pljevlja, Municipality of Zabljak and FORS Montenegro. During the visit, meetings of the mayors of these two municipalities, Mr Miloje Pupovic and Mr Isailo Sljivancanin were held.
After the meetings, public debates on the topic "State of Play in Montenegro's European Integration Process" were organised in both municipalities. Apart from the officials, these events were attended by the citizens who had the opportunity to give their comments and ask questions related to the European Union and the process of European integration of Montenegro. Ms Snezana Radovic, General Director for European Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations of Montenegro attended the debates and presented the current situation from the point of view of the Ministry which coordinates the whole process. In Pljevlja, the Ambassador visited an EU-funded project - Modernizing Urban Parking Infrastructure in Pljevlja Municipality.
The project "Let Me Tell You something about the EU" is funded by the communication budget of the EU Delegation to Montenegro and is a part of the comprehensive communication plan of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro. It is worth € 62,454.79, out of which the European Union finances € 49,800 or 79.74%.
