Veselin Sturanovic was born in 1973. He finished the Elementary and High School in Niksic and graduated from the Faculty of Maritime, Department of Management, in Kotor. He started his career in Commercial Service of Shipping Company in Bar as an intern.
Through the Agency for International, Educational – cultural and Technical Cooperation he has stayed in China for ten months, where he learned the Chinese language and culture.
From 2002 he worked in the US International Organization – CHF that implemented CRDA Program (Community Revitalization through Democratic Action) as a facilitator for community development.
On a new program CRDA-E, program that followed, and was dealing with Economic Development, he was working as a facilitator for Economic Development, specifically dealing with SME Sector and Economic Environment.
From May 2006, after forming of a Regional Development Agency – FORS Montenegro, he was working as a Manager for Civil Society Development. From July 2007 he has occupied the position of Executive Director in FORS Montenegro.
He improved his abilities and knowledge through a variety of workshops, seminars, and trainings from different areas, out of which the most important are:
