Within the project ″Let me tell you something about the EU 2", which we are implementing in nine northern municipalities, on 15-16 September we organised a visit of the representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro to the municipalities of Zabljak and Pljevlja. The EU Delegation team was led by Alberto Cammarata, Head of Political, European Integration and Trade Section and apart from their representatives, the visit was also attended by Velimir Sljivancanin from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations, Milos Kusovac from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, representatives of local authorities and FORS Montenegro team. During the visit, a series of meetings with farmers, tourism workers, representatives of small and medium enterprises, NGOs and youth was organised during which the participants were provided with information on the process of European integrations, obligations and benefits of Montenegro when it joins the EU, while the representatives of EU Delegation, state and local authorities were in a position to listen to the attitudes of the people from the field on the EU accession process, as well as to learn about their main problems and expectations from the integration process and EU membership and to answer their questions.
Award delivery to the winners of the literary competition on the topic Values of the European Union held within the project for high school students was also organised during the visit in Pljevlja. The first prize was won by a student of the Pljevlja High School ″Tanasije Pejatovic", Milic Dujovic, the second prize was won by a student of the Rozaje High School ″30. septembar", Demir Mujevic, while the third prize was won by Danica Rondovic from the High school ″17. septembar" in Zabljak. The aim of the competition was to motivate young people to continue educating themselves on European Union and the process of integrations and to get acquainted with opportunities offered for the young and their inclusion in the process. The winners were awarded valuable prizes – lap top computer, printer and a camera.
