FORS Montenegro organised a training on Social Entrepreneurship for unemployed persons from the northern region of Montenegro from 10 to 13 April. The training was organised in order to promote social entrepreneurship and possibilities that this concept offers for creation of new jobs, solving social problems and the overall socio-economic development. Also, it enabled the participants to gain knowledge and skills for starting social enterprises, from an idea to the implementation phase and providing resources for sustainability.
The trainers were Ms Sonja Vuković and Ms Dragana Lisjak from the Association Slap, who have long term experience in this area and who also presented good practice examples in functioning of this way of entrepreneurship. The training was attended by 25 representatives of youth, women and long-term unemployed.
FORS Montenegro and the Directorate for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro organised a press conference on 22 March in order to present the project DIRECT – DIsaster REsilient Communities and Towns funded by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) of the European Commission (DG ECHO). The speakers on the Conference were Mirsad Mulić, Director General for Emergency Management, Veselin Šturanović, Executive Director of FORS Montenegro and Matej Kejžar, representative of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Kranj from Slovenia. The project is implemented in partnership with the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Kranj from Slovenia, Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic and Czech Association of Fire Officers and has the aim to improve preparedness of local communities, institutions and services for more efficient response to a growing number of natural and man-made hazards.
On 10 February FORS Montenegro organised a round table on ‟Possibilities for Development of Social Entrepreneurship in Montenegro“. The speakers at the event were Sonja Nikčević, President of the Assembly of Nikšić Municipality, Veselin Šturanović, Executive Director of FORS Montenegro, Ivan Mitrović, Director of the Centre for Social Work Nikšić, Aleksandra Radulović, representative of the Employment Agency of Montenegro – Regional Office Nikšić and Tamara Todorović, Project Implementation Manager in FORS Montenegro. The round table was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, local authorities, civil society organisations as well as unemployed persons registered at the Employment Office of Montenegro, who participated in the discussion on the development of social entrepreneurship in Montenegro. The aim of the event was to familiarise participants with the importance of social entrepreneurship for creation of new jobs, solving social problems, the overall socio-economic development of a country and the current situation when it comes to the development of this concept in Montenegro.
FORS Montenegro on 18 January 2017 presented the project DIRECT – DIsaster REsilient Communities and Towns in the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) of the European Commission. The project, which is funded by this Directorate, has been caused by recognized lack of preparedness of local communities, institutions and services for more efficient response to a growing number of natural and man-made hazards. Main project activities which will contribute to solving the identified problems were presented at the event: trainings for rescuers on protection and rescue in case of fires, floods, earthquakes, etc., field rescue exercises, trainings on Disaster Risk Reduction – DRR, development of evacuation plans for schools and local communities, awareness raising campaign related to disaster risks, study visit to EU, international conferences on DRR, etc.
FORS Montenegro – Fondacija za razvoj sjevera Crne Gore objavljuje Poziv za dostavljanje prijedloga projekata u cilju podrške projektima organizacija civilnog društva (OCD) koje su učestvovale u programu obuke za pisanje i implementaciju projekata organizovanom u okviru projekta „Let's Grow Together with IPA 2“.
Rok za predaju prijedloga projekata koji treba da doprinesu poboljšanju socio-ekonomskog razvoja lokalnih zajednica kroz doprinos civilnog društva je 1. februar 2017. godine.
Pravo učešća u ovom pozivu imaju organizacije civilnog društva registrovane u skladu sa važećim zakonima Crne Gore, koje su učestvovale u programu obuke za pisanje i implementaciju projekata organizovanom u okviru projekta Let's Grow Together with IPA 2, a koje ispunjavaju sljedeće uslove:
Napomena: Organizacije koje su dobile podršku kroz program IPA/2015/136-983/DD/ACT/ME, u okviru drugih odobrenih projekata kao aplikant ili koaplikant nemaju pravo učešća u ovom Pozivu.
Prednost će imati organizacije koje nijesu koristile podršku kroz sab-grantove dijeljene u okviru projekata odobrenih kroz program IPA/2015/136-983/DD/ACT/ME ili kroz slične programe. Takođe, ovim Pozivom prednost će biti data organizacijama koje su imale manji godišnji prihod.

Prije popunjavanja navedenih obrazaca pažljivo pročitajte SMJERNICE koje definišu pravila za podnošenje, odabir i realizaciju projekata finansiranih u okviru ovog Poziva.
Sastavni dio ovog Poziva su i ugovorni uslovi u vidu POSEBNIH i OPŠTIH USLOVA koji će biti potpisani sa uspješnim podnosiocima prijedloga projekata.
Ovaj Poziv je objavljen u okviru projekta Let’s grow together with IPA 2 (Referentni broj Poziva: IPA/2015/136-983/DD/ACT/ME), koji finansira Evropska unija, a realizuje se u saradnji sa NVU Opstanak i Ministarstvom evropskih poslova.
