In order to inform potential applicants about the new financial perspective of the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance – IPA II, FORS Montenegro organised a workshop in Nikšić today, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The workshop gathered representatives of civil society organisations, local authority, public institutions and enterprises, schools and other eligible applicants for this support of the European Union.
Ms Sonja Nikčević, President of the Local Assembly, Ms Ana Vukadinović, Acting General Director of the General Directorate for coordination of EU support programs, Mr Veselin Šturanović and Ms Tamara Todorović from FORS Montenegro spoke at the workshop. They presented sectors within IPA II, ways of support, financial allocation for Montenegro for the period 2014-2020, cross-border and transnational programs and other information relevant for potential beneficiaries of the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance.
Similar workshops will be organised in the municipalities of the northern region in the following period.
IPA workshop was organised within the project Let's Grow Together with IPA 2, funded by EU, whose aim is to strengthen capacities of civil society organisations for project writing and implementation, as well as promotion of the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance and other support programs of the European Union among potential applicants.
