FORS Montenegro – Foundation for the Development of Northern Montenegro implements the project IPA Funds for EU Integration funded by the European Union and managed by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro. The project is implemented in thirteen municipalities in Montenegro - Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Zabljak, Kolasin, Mojkovac, Niksic, Plav, Pluzine, Pljevlja, Rozaje and Savnik. The main objective of the project is to strengthen human capital of civil society and local authorities in Northern Montenegro in relation to EU process, with an emphasis on their abilities to develop and implement projects funded under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance – IPA.
FORS Montenegro announces the sale of used vehicle, Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.1 TD, Registration plates No: NKBD 673, first registration from June 2002, full equipment except the leather.The sale will be conducted according to the auction system through a public tender offers to be submitted in sealed envelopes.
From 26th to 28th September FORS Montenegro representatives visited their partners – JKP Cistoca Kraljevo in the Republic of Serbia. The aim of the visit was to discuss project implementation and to make a plan for the upcoming project activities within the campaign Together for Nature.
Within the component Raising awareness and information dissemination of the project Capacity building for sound management of areas of outstanding natural value, FORS Montenegro, in cooperation with the Municipality of Pljevlja and the project partners from BiH (Center for Environmentally Sustainable Development Sarajevo), Croatia (Environmental association Kako je zelena moja dolina and Slovenia (Nature Park Logarska dolina), presents the third Newsletter on Sustainability.
Within the project Together for Nature, FORS Montenegro published a video spot that promotes environmental protection. The video spot was created by NGO The Books of Knjige. The project Together for Nature is financed by the European Union, within the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Montenegro and implemented by FORS Montenegro and PUC “Cistoca” Kraljevo.

FORS Montenegro, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pljevlja organized the workshop with the topic Development of local products on Tuesday, 26th July. The workshop was organized within the project Capacity building for sound management of areas of outstanding natural value.
FORS Montenegro, within EU funded project, organized thirteen (13) informational workshops in order to promote the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance - IPA, and to familiarize participants with IPA rules and procedures, during May and June 2011.
The cross border meeting, organized by the for the Public Utility Company Cistoca from Kraljevo in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of Northern Montenegro – FORS Montenegro and the Municipality of Kraljevo, took place in Kraljevo on 19th July 2011, to discuss progress of the joint cross border project Together for Nature, within the Cross Border Programme Serbia-Montenegro, financed by the European Union.
FORS Montenegro - Foundation for the Development of Northern Montenegro, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pljevlja and relevant experts in the field of design and development of local products, organises a workshop with the topic “Development of Local Products“, for all interested parties.
Within the project Capacity building for sound management of areas of outstanding natural value on June 23rd 2011, the third meeting of the project partners was held in Pljevlja. Apart from FORS Montenegro representatives, the meeting was attended by representatives of NGO “Center for Environmentally Sustainable Development”, BiH, and a representative of Environmental Association “Kako je zelena moja dolina” Plaški, Croatia.
