CARES
On 1 March 2019, FORS Montenegro started with the implementation of a new project “CARES – Cross-border Actions in the REproductive Health Sector“ with the aim of improving the quality of services in the reproductive health sector and raising awareness of the population on the importance of prevention and maintenance of reproductive health.
The eighteen-month project will be implemented in Montenegro and Kosovo*, and its main activities include procurement of equipment for health centres included in the project, organisation of preventive examinations, awareness raising campaign related to reproductive health, publications on these topics, a cross-border Conference, etc.
The project is implemented in partnership with the organisation European Centre for Minority Issues from Kosovo. The target region includes the municipalities of Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Gusinje, Petnjica, Plav, Kolašin, Mojkovac and Rožaje in Montenegro and the municipalities Peć, Istok, Klina, Dečani and Đakovica in Kosovo.
The project is financed by the European Union through Cross-border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2014-2020.
