Training on Management in Social Enterprises
FORS Montenegro organised a training on Management in Social Enterprises for unemployed persons from the northern region of Montenegro on 2-4 October. The training was held in Kolašin and it was organised in order to strengthen capacities of the unemployed youth, women and long-term unemployed for Social Entrepreneurship and improvement of their competitiveness at the labour market and it was attended by 26 representatives of these target groups.
The trainers were Sonja Vuković and Dragana Lisjak from the Association Slap and the participants had the opportunity to learn about the system of managing an enterprise, decision making, specificities of managing social enterprises, management of human resources, motivation, creation of teams, team work, etc.
The training was organised within the project SEEM – Social Economy for Employment in Montenegro and it is a final part of the education programme for youth, women and long-term unemployed, within which trainings on Social Entrepreneurship, Marketing Skills, Business Plan Writing, Internet Marketing, Project Writing and Implementation of Projects, as well as a study visit to successful social enterprises in Croatia and different other activities were organised. The aim of the SEEM project is to contribute to employment of youth, women and long-term unemployed through their capacity building and promotion of social entrepreneurship as a means of self-employment which at the same time contributes to solving certain social problems.
The project is implemented by FORS Montenegro in partnership with the Association Slap from Croatia and it is funded by the European Union within the Grant scheme “Youth, women and long-term unemployed at the labour market”, which is part of the Operational Programme “Human Resource Development 2012-2013”, financed through the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA), for whose implementation the Ministry of Work and Social Welfare of Montenegro is responsible. The project is also financially supported by UNESCO through Participation Programme 2016-2017, through the National Committee of Montenegro for UNESCO.
