New project of civil society and local governments action in field of decarbonisation and mitigation to climate changes

On 1 December 2023 FORS Montenegro started with the implementation of a new project “Green Kick” with the aim of increasing influence of the civil society in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia in the field of decarbonisation and climate protection, by capacity development, improving cooperation of civil society organizations with the local self-governments, authorities and public campaign of the regional GEAR CSO network.
A three-year project will be implemented in the above-mentioned countries and its main activities include trainings for representatives of civil society organisations, awareness raising campaign, participatory process of local environmental policies development by joint teams – SECAPs, etc.
The project is implemented in partnership with organisations Center for Entrepreneurship and Support – CRP and SMART Kolektiv from Serbia.
This project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) (https://www.euki.de/en) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
