Training on Marketing Skills

FORS Montenegro organised a training on Marketing Skills for unemployed persons from the northern region of Montenegro on 25 and 26 April. The training was held in Kolašin and it was organised in order to strengthen capacities of the participants for promoting products and services, especially those which result from social entrepreneurship. Also, it enabled the participants to gain knowledge and skills related to selection of the market, development of marketing strategies and plan for positioning a social enterprise.

The trainer was Ms Sonja Vuković from the Association Slap, who has long term experience in the development of social entrepreneurship and marketing. She also presented good practice examples in the marketing of social enterprises. The training was attended by 29 representatives of youth, women and long-term unemployed.

The training was organised within the project SEEM – Social Economy for Employment in Montenegro, implemented by FORS Montenegro and funded within the Grant scheme “Youth, women and long-term unemployed at the labour market”, which is part of an EU project “Active labour market measures for employability“, implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.

The aim of the SEEM project is to contribute to employment of youth, women and long-term unemployed through their capacity building and promotion of social entrepreneurship as a means of self-employment which at the same time contributes to solving certain social problems.
